Private Classes

DSC_3624Private classes can help you to work on specific areas you experience difficulties with and can be a nice introduction to yoga for novices.

We recommend private classes:

– If you need a specifically designed flexibility programme tailored to your level of fitness or sports requirement
– You have any medical or sports injury problems
– If you are looking for a personal assessment or just a personal introduction before starting our Beginners classes

A private class can be structured exactly for your requirements and will help you with your immediate progress.

Cost: $90.00/hour  per person
$450.00 for 5 sessions
$160 for two people

These sessions are taken by Sharon or Mike Byron-McKay.

Sharon is a registered Physiotherapist with over 30 years experience in teaching Yoga Therapy. She is a member of  the International Yoga Therapy Association.  Sharon gained an A+ in both exercise therapy and advanced muscular/skeletal therapym while completing her Physiotherapy degree.

Please note that at times a teacher trainee may assist during the session, if you are not agreeable to you,  please let Sharon know when booking.



DSC_3401_cropMike has over 32 years experience in teaching at a private class level. He has always acknowledged individuality as an important aspect in facilitating change.

Mike has always enjoyed his supportive role at NZ yoga and feels privileged to have helped many people from different walks of life in adapting their yoga practice to suit their individual needs.
